Threads Photo Downloader

Paste a Threads post link to save its pictures in the original resolution – one photo or every image in a carousel.

Paste the full Threads post URL above. Works with videos and photos.

Save Threads pictures without screenshots

A screenshot cuts off the edges, adds your status bar and shrinks the picture to your screen size. ThreadSave fetches the image file that was actually uploaded to the post, so you get the same width, height and detail the author shared.

It works in the browser you already use – Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Samsung Internet – on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

How to download a photo from Threads

  1. Copy the post link. In the Threads app tap the share icon under the post and choose Copy link. On the web, copy the address from the browser bar.
  2. Paste it above. Drop the link into the box at the top of this page and press Download.
  3. Save the picture. Every image in the post appears as its own button. Tap one to save it to your phone or computer.

What you get

  • Original resolution. The picture is not resized or recompressed by ThreadSave.
  • Every image in a carousel. Posts with several photos list each one separately, so you can keep only the ones you need. For posts that mix photos and videos, see the Threads carousel downloader.
  • No watermark. Nothing is added to the image.
  • A regular JPG file. It opens in any gallery, editor or design tool.

Respect the people who made it

Downloading a photo does not give you the right to reuse it. Saving pictures for personal reference is usually fine; reposting, editing or selling someone else's photo needs their permission. ThreadSave only works with public posts and is not affiliated with Meta or Threads. Rights holders can reach us through our DMCA page.
