How we write, check and update the guides on ThreadSave.
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Who writes our content
Guides and articles on ThreadSave are written and maintained by the ThreadSave team — the same small team that builds and runs the downloader. We don't publish guest posts, sponsored articles or paid placements.
What we write about
We write about things our users actually run into: saving Threads videos and photos on different devices, copying post links, fixing download errors, and understanding what you may and may not do with downloaded content. If a topic doesn't help someone use ThreadSave or Threads better, we don't write it.
How we check facts
- Instructions are based on how ThreadSave and the Threads app actually behave when we write or update a guide.
- Claims about Threads, Instagram or other platforms are checked against the platforms' own help pages and announcements where possible.
- We don't publish made-up statistics, test results, reviews or user quotes. If we haven't tested something, we don't say we have.
- Legal topics such as copyright are explained in general terms only. They are not legal advice, and laws differ between countries.
Use of AI tools
We may use AI writing tools to help draft or translate text. A person on our team reviews every article before it is published and is responsible for its accuracy.
Updates and dates
Threads changes its app and features regularly, so guides can go out of date. We review articles when we notice a change and update the date only when the content itself has changed — never just to make a page look fresh.
Independence
ThreadSave is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta or Threads. The site is free to use and may be supported by advertising. Ads never influence what we write, and advertisers can't buy coverage.
